Trail Running Academy
Join us for 4 days of trail running some of the most beautiful trails in the World, right here at Crested Butte and Mount Crested Butte! We will spend the mornings trail running and adding tips along the way. The afternoons will include a variety of activities you get to choose!
When: Thursday August 15-Sunday August 18, 2019
Where: Crested Butte and surrounding trails
What: Join local professional and top amateur trail runners for an all inclusive trail-running adventure vacation through the beautiful mountains around Crested Butte, CO. Experience the awe-inspiring beauty of summer in the Elk Mountains as we run through the high mountain passes, across alpine ridges, and through stunning fields of wildflowers.
Each day will take you to one of Crested Butte’s most stunning backcountry locations. Daily activities include optional daily clinics to help you improve uphill running, downhill running, uphill hiking, pacing, injury prevention, and nutrition.
On this unforgettable running adventure, we do the planning so you don’t have to. We can accommodate a wide variety of running levels, but you should be comfortable with daily runs ranging from 5 to 16 miles. You are welcome to take days off if you wish. Additional sunset runs or alternate activities such as stand-up paddle boarding are available as well.

gO Skimo Academy
Our 3-day Academy will include instruction from past Grand Traverse winners, US Skimo Team Members, and gO Athletes and Ambassadors. Each day these world-class coaches will offer new skill lessons & techniques; helpful training, nutrition and injury prevention tips; introduction to the newest, cutting edge gear in ski mountaineering; and incredible adventures in the breathtaking surrounding West Elks. We will introduce participants to techniques that make skiing uphill more enjoyable and efficient with kick turns, boot packs, gear tips and tricks, training programs and nutrition. We will work on downhill skiing technique with lift-accessed terrain and one afternoon will be dedicated to working on skate technique, which is a key skill for the Grand Traverse race. Our coaching staff will show you all this + so much more!

Who: This camp is open to all levels of participants, including beginners, intermediate skiers and those with their sights on the Grand Traverse.
